The Renfrew Pub is the homey gathering place for locals and visitors, both friendly and inviting, it’s the sort of place even first-timers swear they’ve been before. The waterfront pub and restaurant occupies an enviable spot, right next to the dock. The great room — with cathedral ceiling, gleaming 10-tap draught system, pool table and flat screen TVs — offers up micro-brews, tasty fare, and nautical charm.
The dining room’s French doors are left open on warm afternoons. Sprawling wrap-around patios let you follow the sun and offer panoramic views of the bay and bluffs. There isn’t a bad seat in this house. This is the spot to shed your shoes, grab a pint or glass of white, and enjoy a bite with friends. Don’t be surprised to see an eagle cruising overhead or a curious harbour seal popping up in the inlet to say hello.
A couple of things to note: There is no need to make a reservation to join us, we are a first come first serve establishment. Dogs are unfortunately not permitted on our patio. We are happy to adapt our meals to allergies and we take the upmost attention to detail when it comes to this.

Chef Bear Flett has been passionately dedicated to the culinary arts for over 30 years.
Classically trained in French, Canadian Regional and Italian cuisine he is inspired by global flavours and driven by sustainable food practices. Chef Bear has consistently pushed the boundaries of culinary innovation over his long tenure in the profession.
With his hands in the garden and kitchen since the tender age of 3, Chef Bear honed his skills and developed a profound understanding of ingredients and flavours.
A member of the vibrant culinary food scene in both the UK and Vancouver, Bear has finally settled on the west coast of Vancouver Island where he continues to delight our diners with his exquisite creations.

Our food is all about quality with a fresh, homespun focus; sauces and gravies are built from scratch. If it can be made in-house, Chef Bear and his team take it on. The baked goods are handcrafted, fries hand-cut, and herbs pulled fresh. Choose from sumptuous burgers or seasonal boat-to-table seafood drawn from nearby waters then curated into a tantalizing menu.
