Pacific Marine Circle Route (via Lake Cowichan) | 4.5 hours round-trip from Victoria

The Pacific Marine Circle Route connects Vancouver Island’s West and East Coasts, offering a scenic and delicious journey. Starting in Port Renfrew, the route winds east to Cowichan Lake and into the Cowichan Valley, a foodie haven famous for its farm-to-table dining, wineries, and local specialties like artisan cheeses, fresh-milled flour, and sweet spot prawns. From there, it continues south along the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) through Duncan before reaching Victoria. If you have time, take the full loop for the ultimate West Coast experience.
