Smooth Sailing
Recent upgrades to the roads in and out of Port Renfrew have made getting here a cinch. Both routes are now paved, including the road connecting Port Renfrew to Lake Cowichan. Gas stations are few (Sooke and Lake Cowichan), so keep an eye on your tank. In wet conditions, watch for slick roads.
